pAround 0133 hours Companies 2416192236 and RIT 20 were dispatched to the 800 block of Pembroke Avenue for a house fire. While responding to the station 24-12M.Carr advised Communications of a Working Fire on the Unit Block of Lewis Ave. Engine 24 responded within minutes with 4 FFs. Engine 24 laid a 3 supply line and went on location with a 3 story single with fire showing on all 3 floors in the rear. The crew advanced a 1-34 handline to the rear and knocked the bulk of the fire down while other companies were arriving. 2 additional handlines were place in service on the 2nd and 3rd floor. Engine 04 was requested for additional manpower. The fire was placed under control at the 1 hour mark. No injuries were reported. brp
